Wholesale FAQ

Answers for hospitality buyers.

Technical specifications, wholesale terms, delivery, and care guidance — everything a hotel procurement manager, spa operator, or property manager needs to know before placing a commercial linen order.

01 · Specifications

What GSM towels are recommended for hospitality environments?

Establishments typically select bath towels within the 450 to 700 GSM (grams per square metre) range. Standard and mid-scale properties, such as business hotels and motels, generally opt for 450 to 500 GSM towels because they combine excellent absorbency with rapid drying times and high laundering energy efficiency. Premium boutique hotels, luxury resorts, and high-end day spas prefer 550 to 700 GSM towels to deliver a heavier, more indulgent feel for their guests.

Our standard catalogue covers 450 GSM classic towels, 500 GSM deluxe bath sheets/towels, and ultra-heavyweight 700 GSM hospitality bath mats. Contact us directly for tailored volume pricing.

02 · Specifications

How do 450 GSM and 500 GSM towels compare?

GSM indicates fabric density. A 450 GSM towel is lighter, highly packable, and dries very rapidly, which minimises processing times and energy consumption. This makes it an ideal option for high-turnover gymnasiums, leisure centres, and budget motels.

A 500 GSM towel features a denser loop pile that provides greater moisture absorption and a softer tactile experience, serving as the commercial sweet spot for boutique accommodation. Laundering costs remain highly comparable, while guest satisfaction is significantly enhanced.

03 · Durability

What is the expected lifespan of a commercial towel in wash cycles?

A high-quality commercial towel generally lasts between 100 to 200 industrial laundering cycles before showing signs of natural fibre wear or reduced absorption. The exact longevity is heavily influenced by the laundering programme:

— Using moderated wash temperatures (gentler on fabric)
— Choosing balanced pH commercial detergents (preserves fibres)
— Restricting harsh chlorine bleach applications (prevents rapid degradation)
— Calibrating hot tumble drying cycles correctly (prevents fibre brittleness)

With an optimally balanced laundry programme, premium accommodation operators routinely achieve 150+ wash cycles from our 500 GSM 100% combed cotton towel range.

04 · Ordering

Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ) for wholesale purchasing?

We do not enforce a strict minimum order quantity for our standard stock lines. B2B buyers have full flexibility to place small-scale replenishments or samples. We offer free nationwide shipping on all orders over AU$100, while smaller orders incur standard freight costs calculated dynamically at checkout.

Ongoing contract rates and volume discounts are available for regular buyers with a monthly spend exceeding AU$2,500, or for major property refits. Please contact our corporate accounts team to discuss custom arrangements.

05 · Budget planning

What is the typical annual linen budget per hotel room?

For a standard 4-star room, operators budget a 3-par inventory in active circulation (one set in use, one set in the laundry, and one set in reserve storage).

Based on typical wash frequencies and occupancy rates, the average yearly replacement cost ranges between AU$120 and AU$180 per room. For example, a mid-sized 60-room motel usually allocates between **AU$7,000 and AU$11,000 annually** for linen replenishment, which ensures that guests always enjoy fresh, high-performance textiles.

06 · Sizing

What bed sheet dimensions are standard for Australian hospitality?

We stock sheets corresponding to standard Australian commercial beds:

— Single (91 × 193 cm)
— Double (137 × 193 cm)
— Queen (152 × 203 cm)
— King (183 × 203 cm)

Our fitted sheets feature an extra-deep 38 cm to 40 cm wall to secure around commercial mattresses and toppers without slipping. Our flat sheets are generously oversized to allow housekeeping teams to execute clean, professional hospital corners easily.

Our entire white bed linen range is available at a premium 165 GSM in flat and fitted formats, using an industrial-grade 50/50 poly-cotton blend.

07 · Materials

What are the material compositions of your towels and sheets?

Our commercial bath towels, hand towels, and face washers are manufactured from **100% combed ring-spun cotton**. The combing process extracts short, weak fibres, yielding a much stronger, smoother yarn that resists shedding and linting during commercial washes.

Conversely, our hospitality sheets feature a premium **50/50 poly-cotton blend** at 165 GSM. This blend is the industry benchmark, delivering excellent wrinkle resistance, quick-dry performance, and superior wash durability compared to 100% cotton at a highly competitive unit cost.

08 · Colour ranges

What colour options are available in your towelling range?

Yes, we offer a comprehensive array of colourways. In addition to classic hotel white, our standard commercial towels are stocked in modern Charcoal/Grey, warm Camel, bold Black, and elegant Navy Blue.

We also supply a vibrant range of elegant accent colours, including Aqua, Cherry, Coffee, Fuchsia, Garnet, Lime, Mirage, Pink, Purple, and Royal Blue to suit diverse guest branding. All coloured towels are treated with advanced colourfast dyes to protect against fade under intensive industrial washing.

09 · Delivery

How long does shipping take, and what are the delivery costs?

Standard shipping is free for all orders over AU$100 within Australia, while orders below this threshold incur freight costs calculated dynamically at checkout. In-stock products are processed and dispatched from our NSW facility within 1 to 2 business days.

Estimated transit times to major regions:

— Sydney / Melbourne / Adelaide: 3–5 business days
— Brisbane / Perth / Hobart / Darwin: 5–8 business days
— Remote and regional areas: 6–9 business days

We deliver exclusively within Australia. Large commercial consignments are shipped directly to loading docks or ground-floor receiving zones.

10 · Returns

What is your B2B return and exchange policy?

Standard stock items can be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are completely unwashed, unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase. The buyer covers return shipping for change-of-mind transactions.

Non-returnable items (except in cases of verified manufacturer defect):

— Bulk wholesale orders exceeding 50 units per SKU
— Items that have been processed through a commercial laundering cycle

Wholesale returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Damaged shipments must be reported to our customer care team within 48 hours of delivery for immediate replacement.

11 · Plain linen only

Is it possible to order custom-branded or embroidered linen?

No. We specialise exclusively in high-performance, plain commercial linen and do not provide in-house embroidery, logo printing, or custom branding.

This strict focus allows us to maintain fast dispatch times and highly competitive wholesale pricing. If your venue requires custom branding, we recommend forwarding our products to a local commercial embroidery specialist after delivery. Our double-stitched lock-hemmed borders provide an excellent base for high-tension custom embroidery.

12 · Colour options

Can you source bespoke or non-standard colours for large commercial projects?

Yes, we can source custom dye runs for major trade orders.

Beyond our extensively stocked palette of hotel white, camel, grey, navy, black, and our ten signature coloured towels, we can source bespoke colours through our global manufacturer network for larger contract orders. Custom colour-matching is available for commercial accounts seeking precise branding alignment.

— Minimum volume thresholds apply for custom dye lots
— Lead times are quoted per project requirements
— Swatches and sample prints are submitted for prior approval

Please contact our B2B commercial desk with your colour specifications and projected volumes for a formal proposal.
